What's this project about?
CandleZero is a M.A.D project; which stands for "Make A Difference". In a span of 1 month, we aim to launch the idea of CandleZero into reality, it targets to solve a real-life problem; the wastage in birthday candles that nevers burns completely. On the other hand, the candle wax is made out of crude oil, adding weight to the difficulty of globle sustainability.

How might we revolutionize a Birthday Celebration?

Do you know how many birthdays are celebrated every day?
With the global birth rate we know today there are approximately 495,000 births per day. Including the current world population, it's safe to assume that birthdays celebrated with candles accumulate to a significant number annually.
Here
is the catch
The biggest catch: We NEVER finish burning our candles, think about the candles on your birthdays, do they ever burn out completely? Those wasted candle accumlates to a big number!
Catch two: Birthday candles are made out of Paraffin Wax, it produces harmful fumes and causes paraffin polution.
Good News: Many alternatives of biodegradable wax are available. We just never cared for birthday candles. It's time to change for good!
A SIMPLE SOLUTION
Eliminate Paraffin: Wax like soy wax is a perfect subsitute! it's biodegradable and burns longer!
Eliminate wastage: According to our research, the candles are only burning for the length of a birthday song, it really doesn't have to be the entire stick long...
Better Design: Let's admit it, it's time to include grooves on our candles, so that the wax can stop dripping on our perfect and delicious cakes.
